About Me
Civil Engineer — Universidad del Valle
I am Juan Manuel Orozco Henao, a Civil Engineer graduated from Universidad del Valle (Cali, Colombia). My work focuses on structural design and assessment, pathological diagnosis of existing buildings, and automation of engineering workflows.
I have developed Python tools that interact with the ETABS API to streamline drift verification, report generation, and result extraction, reducing analysis times from hours to minutes.
I have also participated in applied research on Digital Image Correlation (DIC) to characterize the mechanical properties of concrete and steel, integrating computer vision techniques with structural engineering.
